From your first album to your first frame.
Use your phone or computer to manage the photos. Use the tablet’s browser to display them. You only need to connect each frame once, unless its browser data is cleared.

Connect your frame in four steps.
Have your photos, your tablet, and an internet connection ready.
Create an accountCreate your album
Create an account or log in, then choose Create album. Give it a name you will recognize, such as “Family moments”.
In Photos, choose Add photos. Upload JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP files. For older tablets, JPEG is a useful starting point.
Create a device link
Open Device links and choose Create device link. Use a name such as “Living room tablet”, then choose Copy link.
Send the copied link to the tablet. Keep it private: whoever activates it first can view the album.
Activate it on the tablet
Open the link in the browser you will use as the frame and confirm the connection there. The slideshow will open without needing your account password.
Activate the link on the frame itself. Activating it on your phone or computer uses its one-time connection.
Make it your own
In the album’s Settings, choose the time between photos and an optional quiet schedule, then save. The connected frame picks up settings while it runs.
Keep the tablet charged, online, and awake. Adjust its screen timeout in the device settings. The quiet schedule hides photos; it does not switch off the physical screen.
You stay in control
One link. One frame browser.
A device link connects a browser to a single album. It does not give access to your account or its editing controls.
- More than one frame? Create a separate link for each device or browser. An account can hold up to 20 device links across all albums.
- Reopening a frame? Use the same browser and keep its cookies. Bookmark the slideshow page after connecting.
- Replacing a device? Delete its old link in Device links, then create a new one for the replacement.
- Stopping access? Delete that device’s link. It will no longer be able to fetch album photos. A photo already displayed or saved cannot be recalled.
Avoid private browsing for a permanent frame: it may discard the connection when the browser closes. Never post an unused device link publicly.

Will it work on my old iPad or Android tablet?
The frame runs in a web browser, but compatibility depends on the device, operating system, supported image formats, and browser. Start with a small JPEG album and test it on your tablet before relying on it as a permanent frame. A current browser is recommended for managing your account.
Does the frame need an internet connection?
Yes. Keep the device connected to the internet with the slideshow page open. Photos and album settings are loaded from your account; offline playback is not supported.
Which photos can I upload?
Use JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP, with up to 100 photos per album. Each file must be no larger than 10 MiB and 16 megapixels. HEIC and RAW files need to be exported as a supported format first. Large photos may need to be resized before uploading.
Why does my link say it has already been used?
Each link can be activated only once. If it was opened and activated on another browser, delete it in Device links and create a new one. If the frame is already connected, reopen the slideshow in its original browser instead of activating the link again.
What if I clear cookies, change browsers, or reset the tablet?
The frame may lose its connection. Create a new device link and activate it in the browser you plan to keep using. Delete the old link so it no longer counts toward your account’s limit.
Why is the frame blank or showing no photos?
Check the internet connection and confirm that the album has photos. Then check its quiet schedule and the device’s local time. If the frame has lost access, create a new device link. If a single image fails, try exporting it as JPEG and uploading it again.
When will new photos and settings appear?
The frame checks for updates while the slideshow is running. Allow time for the current photo and slideshow cycle to finish. It needs an active internet connection; updates are not instantaneous.
Can I use full screen or add a Home Screen shortcut?
Tap the photo to request full screen where the browser supports it. You can also try your browser’s Add to Home Screen option after opening the slideshow. Availability and cookie sharing vary by device; if the shortcut opens without access, connect it with a new device link or keep using the original browser.
Can two people edit the same album from separate accounts?
Albums belong to the account that created them. Shared editing between accounts is not available. Device links provide viewing access only, so you do not need to share your account password with someone who only uses a frame.
How much does it cost, and what are the limits?
